Health data

Consumer health data here means personal information that identifies, or could reasonably identify, someone’s past, present, or future physical or mental health. In this product that almost always arrives as a story: “we lost him that winter,” “she has been sober four years,” “I’ve been having thoughts of ending it.”

It includes information about people who never used the site — the person the song is about, and anyone named in a memory.

This notice is written to cover Washington’s My Health My Data Act, Nevada’s consumer health data law, and Connecticut’s rules for sensitive data. The Privacy Policy still applies to everything else.

I collect health information only when someone puts it in a story they sent me so I could write a song. I use it to write that song, to correct it, and to support it. I do not use it to advertise. I do not use it to infer anyone’s health status for any other purpose. I do not sell it.

Sources:

• The buyer, in the answers they type or speak.
• People they invited, in the stories those people type or speak.

I do not collect health information from wearables, from medical records, from browsers, or by watching anyone.

I share consumer health data only with the services needed to write and produce the song you asked for, and only as much as that work requires:

• Supabase — stores the stories and the finished song. supabase.com
• OpenAI and Fireworks — write example answers while you write. openai.com, fireworks.ai
• Anthropic — may help draft lyrics. anthropic.com
• ElevenLabs — writes down a spoken story. The sound itself is sent to their speech-to-text service so the words can appear as they talk. Talking is optional. On a paid API they say they do not train on those inputs by default. They may keep audio for a short abuse-monitoring window. elevenlabs.io
• The music service (currently Suno) — generates the audio from a brief and the lyrics, not from the raw pile of stories. suno.com
• Vercel — hosts the application. May see information in logs. vercel.com

I do not run session replay. I do not share consumer health data with Stripe, Resend, Twilio, or xAI on purpose, and a story should not appear in a receipt, an email, a text, or an image prompt.

There are no affiliates.

I collect and share this information to make the song you asked for. If you put health information in a story, you are asking me to use it that way. You can refuse by not writing it, and you can withdraw later by asking me to delete it.

This page is not buried in the Terms. Agreeing to the Terms is not, by itself, consent to extra uses of health data — and I am not asking for extra uses.

You can:

• Ask whether I hold consumer health data about you.
• Ask for a list of the third parties it was shared with, with contact information.
• Withdraw consent for further collection or sharing.
• Ask me to delete it, including from backups within 30 days. I will tell the processors I use.
